Crisis UK’s Women’s Homelessness Alliance Event

It was a real privilege to speak at Crisis UK’s Women’s Homelessness Alliance Event and incredibly moving to hear the lived experience of homeless women in Newcastle. And to learn about the work being done by charities to prevent and tackle homelessness in the North East and the UK.
Great to visit Hawthorn Primary School in Elswick

Great to visit Hawthorn Primary School in Elswick to discuss staff concerns over recent changes to free school meals. It was fantastic to talk with the Eco Food Warriors who are working to tackle food waste at school, and have seen a 25% reduction in binned food.
