“During the dark days of Covid, it was the NHS which gave us hope, not ministers partying in Downing Street.”

The Minister claimed Tories weren’t demonising NHS staff, just unions. But the NHS unions are made up of NHS staff, and his Government’s legislation requires a majority vote on a turn out of at least 50%. Unions like Unison  & the RCN are representing NHS staff.

HS staff are overworked, underpaid, without a proper workforce plan, scared for the safety of patients & forced to use foodbanks. I asked the Minister why he thinks staff we applauded during COVID don’t deserve face to face pay negotiations with his Government?
