Tory short-termism is wrecking UK science
Not content with their catastrophic trickle-down experiment with the nation’s economy the Tories are now trialling Heisenberg’s “uncertainty principle” — for the last few months it has been impossible to know both the position and number of science ministers at the same time.
The Tories aren’t serious about science – that’s why we don’t convert our rich science base into the high-skill, high-wage, high-productivity economy we want. Cuts to R&D spending would be disastrous for not only our science base but also our economy
