Hello Chi, I wrote a very long letter to you approx., 2 years ago about the proposal too shut down the Scotswood GP surgery. You agreed with me on every point I made. I’ve always admired and trusted your judgement.
I would loved to have attended the No to Trump campaign , this Friday, but sadly my husband of 42 years has just died and I’m preoccupied with his funeral arrangements.
I have to say I never believed that hell could freeze over, but it did when this man became president elect. I have worked for ncle social work dpt., as an ASW under the Mental Health Act. My professional thoughts are that Mr Trump is very paranoid. I deplore his lack of humanity, his lack of morals and the lack of common sense. In short he is not a decent man.He is not fit for office. I know this sounds very judgemental but I have very strong views about this pathetic excuse for a man.
He has the lethal combination of being mad and bad and as the most powerfull man on earth he has unpredictable behaviour which could take us into a nuclear holocaust . As you know an ASWs job combined with medics is too assess a persons capacity as to wether they are a risk to themselves or others. Then to find a place of safety for that person in the event of being sectioned. I wonder if the American authorities would ever consider Mr Trump as being in need of a mental health assessment? It gives food for thought!.
So I will not be with you in person on Friday in Newcastle, but I will be with you in spirit. Andrea Anderson retired psychiatric social worker.
